Robinsons Bookshop is one of the largest and oldest established bookshops in Victoria. With around 45,000 titles in stock at any time, and some 1500 new ones arriving every month, we are well placed to serve all the needs of book lovers on the Mornington Peninsula and throughout the southern suburbs of Melbourne.

We publish two in-house new release catalogues each month. BookNews highlights all the new general releases from adult and children's fiction to new music and DVD releases. Our other publication is entitled Romance Review and features forthcoming romance novels from USA and local publishers. You can download these publication free from this site.

Murder on the Orient Express

Agatha Christie was born in Torquay in 1890 and became, quite simply, the bestselling novelist in history. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, written towards the end of World War I, introduced us to Hercule Poirot, who was to become the most popular detective in crime fiction since Sherlock Holmes. She is known throughout the world as the Queen of Crime. Her books have sold over a billion copies in the English language and another billion in over 100 foreign languages. She is the author of 80 crime novels and short story collections, 19 plays, and six novels under the name of Mary Westmacott.
